Rules for installing skirting boards

Rules for installing a quartz skirting board

Quartz floor skirting board will be the perfect finishing touch to your renovation. The skirting board decors overlap with the popular Grand Sequoia stone laminate collection. The variety of natural shades allows the skirting board to be used with almost all Alpine Floor stone laminate decors.

1. Preparation of materials and tools: Before installing the skirting board,
it is necessary to prepare all the necessary materials and tools. You will need: the skirting board itself, a tape measure, a miter saw, liquid nails, a sponge or a soft cloth.

2. Surface preparation: Before installing the skirting board,
it is necessary to prepare the wall surface. Make sure it's clean and level. If the surface is uneven, it is recommended to use putty or primer for leveling.

3. Measuring and cutting the skirting board:
Measure the length of the wall on which the skirting board will be installed. Mark the desired length on the skirting board and carefully cut it off with a miter saw. Please note that when installing the skirting board at an angle of 45 degrees, it is necessary to make appropriate corner cuts at the ends of the skirting board.

4. Skirting board installation:
Apply liquid nails directly to the skirting board and press firmly against the wall. If necessary, remove excess glue with a sponge or soft cloth.
